In order to ensure spectrum efficiency and determine the future requirement of spectrum, TRAI is likely to start an audit of spectrum available with the service providers in the next three to four months. According to TRAI chairman J.S. Sarma, India will require about 300-500 MHz of additional spectrum in the next three-four years.
